Further news coverage in Canarias 7 and El Diario on the associated R+D+i associated unit Ocean and Climate

This weekend, Canarias 7 and El Diario published an article on the plans for the CSIC/ULPGC associated unit Ocean and Climate to search for new formulae to boost the blue economy. The director of IOCAG, Alonso Hernández Guerra underlined the importance of the seas and oceans and the opportunity they provided to diversify the economy in Gran Canaria which is so traditionally linked with tourism. In addition, a project coordinated by Hernández Guerra within the framework of the associated unit will focus on the contribution of the South Atlantic to climate change and the development of innovative instruments to determine water column temperature and salinity levels.
