Researchers of QUIMA are analysing the waters of La Palma

A group of researchers of the QUIMA group are now on board on the ships Punta Salinas and Salvamar Alphard, both belonging to the Spanish Maritime Safety and Rescue Society (Salvamento Marítimo), to measure the CO2 of the waters of La Palma after the eruption of the new volcano. Melchor González Dávila and Magdalena Santana Casiano are two of the researchers that are analysing the chemical values of the water where the flow of the volcano can end its path.
