The ULPGC publishes an article on the international research in which Aridane González González is participating

Member of IOCAG's QUIMA division, Aridane González González, is part of the team studying the role humic-like substances play in the biochemical cycle of iron (Fe) in the ocean. This research, the result of several oceanographic campaigns, has shown for the first time that maximum organic fraction of iron is always defined by the concentration of humic substances. Furthermore, it has demonstrated the importance of knowing the chemistry of organic compounds capable of complexing iron in the ocean.

More information on the research and its findings can be found on the ULPGC website here.
