My research activity has been mainly centered on the study of the relationships between tectonics and geomorphology on the granitic and volcanic terrains by using cartographic and photogrammetric methods, field observations and geotechnical essays. I have carried out fluvial geomorphology and neotectonical studies on the Spanish old massifs. My research interests lie primarily in the understanding of Natural Hazards and properly landslide risk, especially in mountain areas within volcanic countries.
