I am a Ph.D. on Oceanography and Global Change candidate at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), under the supervision of Dr. Javier Arístegui from the Biological Oceanography Group (GOB), and of Dr. Ulf Riebesell from the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel. My doctoral research is funded by the OceanNETs European project (https://www.oceannets.eu/), and it focuses on the study, through a mesocosm approach, of the potential impacts of Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement (OAE), a Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) strategy, on primary production, phytoplankton community structure, and on the biogeochemical fluxes they regulate.
